29 week update...
What's going on with baby this week: All the sources say this baby should weigh 2.5 to 3 pounds, but we know he/she is a super grower and ahead of that schedule. :) Expected length is about 16 inches. The baby can now taste and respond to pain. The buds for permanent teeth are developing under the gums. Baby has lots of energy now due to the accumulating white fat.
How do I feel: Happy to be feeling all the energetic kicks and punches from inside! Even though I know how strong 29 weekers are when born, it still impresses me to feel and see it happening inside of my own body! Today has been a particularly active day for him/her. Physically I feel great, maybe a little more tired than a couple of weeks ago.
What I'm looking forward to: Starting to work on some nursery projects that I have in mind.
I'm so excited for you!! Talked with Mom today and she too is excited and asks and thinks about you and the baby all the time. She is so excited for you!!! She said nobody deserves a little one more than you. Love ya booey. Jerri
