Embryo transfer today went beautifully!  The embryo thawed well and was great.  It wasn't nearly as hatched as Parker was but that seems to be fine.  Dr. Schoolcraft did the procedure and it was painless, thankfully, after my past experiences.  I had the acupuncture before and after and was so relaxed from that and the Valium.

It was a good feeling to take Parker back to where he began life!  Laura called Parker
"Penny" as an embryo because he looked like a penguin in that pic.  Today he wore a red onsie with an appliqued penguin!  This embryo looked nothing like that so he/she has no nickname yet.

Got back to the hotel, changed into my PJ's and got into bed for the mandatory 48 hours of bedrest.  Parker clearly couldn't understand that.  He came right over the bed, reached up for lots of hugs and kisses, so sweetly!!  Laura lifted him into the bed and he snuggled up to me for quite a while.  It's amazing how perceptive even one year olds can be.  We fly home to Pittsburgh on Friday, then my parents will drive back to Virginia with us on Saturday.  One of my restrictions even after bedrest is to not lift over 10 pounds.  Meaning being alone with Parker is impossible as he needs lifted into and out of his high chair, crib, etc.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again....I'm so blessed to have such a supportive family who has made so many sacrifices on my behalf.  There are no words adequate enough to thank them!  I only hope and pray that having another grandchild, niece or nephew will bring them some happiness too!

Pregnancy test will be done on Friday, December 12th.
