Arrived in Denver Tuesday evening via good flights.  The only glitch occurred at the rental car agency where I spent three hours!  They did not have the car I reserved, so I was upgraded to a 2013 Mustang Convertible!  Waited one hour for them to bring me the car, only to discover a "low tire pressure" light.  Got sent back inside and switched to a 2011 Dodge Charger....blah....Oh well, short lived excitement.

Transfer yesterday went perfectly!  The embryo thawed without complications and was graded 4AA, the highest grade possible.  It had actually begun to hatch, meaning break out of it's shell.  This is helpful as it makes the embryo more "sticky". In the pictures below, the embryo appears as a figure eight, the lower half being the part that has already been hatched. Laura and I think it looks like a really cute cartoon penguin. The procedure itself went better than I had even hoped.  He accessed my cervix easily, the catheter produced very little cramping and no spotting.  The acupuncture before and after was relaxing.  This time was a whole different picture with no fibroids, a triple layered lining, and a flawless transfer procedure. The hardest part was maintaining a full bladder for an hour after the procedure. The official pregnancy test is scheduled for August 31st.

We traveled back to the hotel and have been in my pajamas ever since. Feeling well, very positive, happy and well cared for.  Bed rest is much harder than you would think.  We head home in the morning.

As always, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
