I was hoping for an 8 mm, triple layered lining but that's not what I've got. It's only 5 mm and not triple layers. This is a totally new problem for me so I'm not sure what is going to happen right now. I imagine they'll increase my estrogen again and need to check another ultrasound. Which probably means embryo transfer will need to be delayed, flights, hotel and car reservations changed....again. I'm awaiting a phone call from the nurses in CO to discuss the problem and new plans. Will update after I know something more solid.
Update: The nurse from CCRM says not to be concerned. They see this all the time and it works out just fine. She reminded me that my uterus has been through a lot lately with surgery, the hysteroscopy and then laminaria placement. So it's not surprising to them that it's taking longer to respond this time. I am to increase my estrogen and have another ultrasound on Thursday, August 9th. If that's a good one, and she believes it will be, embryo transfer will be August 17th. She said Dr. Schoolcraft didn't even blink an eye, just said increase estrogen and delay a week. I also asked about how long the benefits of the laminaria last. I'd read it was about a month and by pushing transfer back a week we'll be a little beyond that. But the nurse said they see benefits for at least 6 weeks and up to 8 weeks so I'm better with that. Really not looking forward to inconveniencing my co-workers to switch all my days around to accommodate the new schedule. This journey is truly a test of patience and perseverance.
Hang in there....we'll get through this!

It's going in the right direction. Patience is tough sometimes but it sounds like all systems are just about a go. Fingers crossed for the 17th!
