It's feels so good to be 10 weeks! And to have a day without injections or lab work, too! A truly great day. I thought I might begin a weekly update that addresses the same things as this pregnancy progresses. So here goes....
What's going on with baby this week: Baby should be about 1.3 inches from crown to rump. All vital organs have formed. His/her yolk sac will be detaching since the liver & spleen are now producing the blood cells. The fingers are no longer webbed. The brain is developing rapidly with almost 250,000 neurons being produced every minute!
How do I feel: So happy and thankful! I do have some nausea in the afternoons and evenings but it's bearable. And tired, really tired. I've always been a night owl, but not any more.
What am I eating: This week it's been a lot of baked potatoes and eggs. Can't even stand the thought of chicken, and only ground beef in small amounts will do.
What I miss: As I mentioned previously, the occasional flavored, iced coffee. And deli ham sandwiches, so simple.
What I'm looking forward to: Another ultrasound and my first "regular" OB visit on Tuesday. Stay tuned for new pics!
