Ten weeks and headed to Pittsburgh today to spend Christmas with my wonderful family. I had an OB appointment yesterday and we were able to "see" baby briefly on the new hand-held ultrasound device they use. It is about the size of a large smart phone and there is no audio capability, nor can you print from it. But being able to see a normal heartbeat and arms waving all over were just what I needed!! All was fine, so next visit is January 8th for a more detailed ultrasound.
