"Edie" begins her ovarian stimulation medications today.  She will have frequent ultrasounds to follow the growth and development of the eggs.  There is the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in these women and that can be life-threatening.  Praying and hoping that she has an uneventful course and is not too uncomfortable.
