Egg retrieval is today. I so hope that the procedure goes smoothly for "Edie" and that she recovers quickly. I have been wondering how she has felt these last few days with around 25 follicles measuring about 20 mm each. Must be uncomfortable. Of course I also hope the procedure yields a bunch of healthy, mature eggs that fertilize well this afternoon.
Just got my first IM injection of progesterone, it went very well. Also made up a schedule of meds for the next week or so as it is rather complicated. But oh so worth it!
Looking forward to hearing from my nurse tomorrow with a fertilization report. Grow little embryos, grow, please!
