This morning I left work, went for some lab work, home to shower quickly, then back to the doctor's office for an ultrasound.  My uterine lining was 12.2 mm thick, which is good.  They like it at least 8 mm before they transfer embryos.  Then I had a phone appointment with Dr. Schoolcraft, a pre-embryo regroup.  He reviewed the plans and said "you really have a good donor.  She is really cranking out the eggs and I believe you'll have a lot of good embryos."  YAY!  He asked for me to scan him the ultrasound image from today so he could review it himself.

Later that night a nurse called.  My estrogen level from this AM was good.  I asked about "Edie's" follicle counts and was told she has 10-12 on the left and 16 on the right.  So happy with this news.

We were originally scheduled to travel to Colorado on Tuesday but it seems like the eggs need a couple extra days to grow and mature so we're now hopefully leaving on Thursday, January 31st.  This is not unusual.  They medicate her to produce lots of follicles/eggs but can't know for sure ahead of time when they'll be ready.  They will know definitely 48 hours before retrieval time.
