Today's ultrasound went well. Unfortunately my high-risk doctor was out sick today so an ultrasonographer did the scan fairly quickly then said it would be transmitted to another doctor for "reading." She told me little and it wasn't followed by the doctor doing her own scan. I'm told the results would be sent to my OB. What I do know is that she spent too little time listening and looking for PAC's. We only heard or saw about 10-12 heartbeats on two occasions, and I noted none during those times. But previously we've had to listen longer to catch them. Guess I'll be happy that they have decreased in frequency again, and wait till next week when the doctor should be back.
The heart rate was 138 today and baby weighs 4 pounds and 10 ounces or 2088 grams. I don't know how that plots on the growth charts but it is still somewhat over the average for 32+ weeks. I'll ask on Monday when I talk to the doctor for the percentiles. Baby had flipped to the breech position for today, but there is still plenty of room and time for him or her to turn back around. He/she was much more cooperative today, moving a little but not crazy-busy like last week.
Following the ultrasound I saw my regular OB who is pleased. We did talk about the fainting episode and she feels confident it was just decreased blood flow back to my upper body and head, not unusual in pregnancy. My BP was good again, no protein or glucose in the urine. I'm now up a total of 11 pounds. She was happy enough with everything to say she'd see me in two weeks. But next appointment is Monday for an ultrasound as I mentioned above.
Here's the best picture from today. I'm trying to decide if those are actually eyelashes that we can see.
